Proclaiming God’sTruth From His
Holy City
Through Geological Survey it has been determined that the Old City of Jerusalem, topographically, is shaped in the form of a "Hand", which then gives understanding to Isaiah 49:16. Two chapters later in Isaiah 51:16 it is stated that the other hand overshadows the city.
**Archaeological Endaevors QUMRAN, see pages 3,5 and 8.
The two sides of the hand(s)
are East and West. In Biblical Scriptures the symbolisim of going
Eastward represents leaving God, conversely going West then represents
coming to God.
Our Archaeological interests in Qumran revolve around
our finding the two parts of the Dead Sea Scroll Cave number Four
are man carved in representations of the First and Second Temple era
courtyards. When looking West the head of the Wadi is seen as a large
"Dome", "Cresent" , "bridge" or "covering over", which by Aramaic
and Arabic link to the Hebrew word "Kippah". One of the Dead Sea Scrolls
called the "Copper Scroll" tells of items hidden in the "Wadi Ha Kippah".
Anything found would then be taken "West" towards the "Hand of God".
